*1,250 bags of maize flour distributes to 264 people

Senator Babangida Hussain (Walin Kazaure) of Jigawa NorthWest, Jigawa State, has donated 1,250 bags of maize flour to his constituents across 12 local government areas.
This humanitarian gesture aims to alleviate the hardship faced by his people, exacerbated by recent nationwide protests and resulted to food shortages.
Senator Wali has consistently supported his constituents with basic needs and developmental projects since his election.
His initiatives include eye surgeries, free glasses, health tests, scholarships, employment opportunities, empowerment programs, payment of medical bills, school fees, and provision of portable drinking water and road projects.
“The food support to my constituents continue in Kazaure LG which was temporarily disrupted by the nationwide protest”. Said Senator Babangida Hussaini Walin Kazaure.
During the recent distribution exercise in Kazaure, each local government received 100 bags of maize flour, with Kazaure local government receiving 150 bags. Chairman APC Kazaure local government, Hon. Hassan Lawan, explained that each person would receive 5kg of maize flour.
The mobilization committee, set up to distribute benefits to the people of Jigawa NorthWest, has started compiling a list of those to benefit from the upcoming distribution of millet.
Alhaji Bashar Ado, Secretary of the committee , said a total number of 264 people across 12 LGA’s of Jigawa NorthWest will benefit from the distribution exercise of maize flour, “the Senator will soon deliver 3 trucks of millet for distribution to three emirates (Kazaure, Ringim and Gumel) and those who didn’t get maize will be considered”.
Alh. A.U. Masa, APC Chieftain in Kazaure local government, commended Senator Babangida for his timely intervention, saying the gesture would bring relief to his constituents.
Beneficiaries, Asabe Abba, applauded Senator Wali’s kind gesture, describing his representation as one of the best they have experienced. The distribution exercise was witnessed by committee members, party officials, and supporters, with hundreds of households collecting their shares with joy.”
