The Special Assistant to governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasaraw State on Media, Hon. Laminu Ishaq has distributed N5000 each to over 200 less privileged women, Persons With Disabilities(PWD) and youths in his constituency
Ishaq appealed to other appointees to also extend their hands of fellowships to the less privileged to alleviate the current hardship no matter how little.
Hon. Laminu indicated that he was moved with compassion for his people because of the intense hardship associated with the removal of the fuel subsidy.
“I feel I should take out of my little earning and give to the poor especially now that hunger is biting harder in many homes in the country. I am happy doing this and will do more by God’s mercy.
“More so, I made a promise to our supporters in Lafia central ward that should Sule be returned for the second term I will come back and thank them. Today I am fulfilling that promise.
“I appeal to all my colleagues and those with the whewithal, to please share your resources with these poor ones so that they can feel your impact.
He appealed to Nigerians to remained steadfast as no hard times last for ever adding that they inhale continue to pray with hope that things will change for the best in the country.
