A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Hon Sulaiman Usman Zumunchi, has been given a pass mark to Member representing Maru/Bungudu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Abdulmalik Zubairu for building and finishing 50 beds capacity hospital in Bungudu local government area of the state.
Sulaiman Zumunchi made the commendation while fielding questions from journalists in Gusau Sunday.
According to him the construction of the Ultramodern Hospital by the Federal Lawmaker, would benefit not only his constituents but to the entire people of the state.
However, the already commissioned Hospital named after the father of the federal lawmaker “Zubairu Bawa Community Hospital Bungudu” and is fully equipped with a laboratory, scan room, male and female wards, Doctors Changing room, a mini theatre, a labour room, and a full pledged Sola powered generating set.
Hon Sulaiman Usman Zumunchi, described the federal lawmaker as God sending leader who always put his constituents at heart.
Hon. Zumunchi who was a former Special Adviser (SA) in the immediate past administration of former governor Bello Muhammed Matawalle stated that the existence of the hospital in the area will address the plights of the people with regards to health challenges to far away.
“What the lawmaker done to his constituents is highly commendable especially at this trying period in the country, and it will surely compliment the efforts of both the Federal and Zamfara State Governments in the Health Sector.” He said
“My first visit to the hospital was during the construction work and secondly on the recent flag off of the Medical outreach by Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria IMAN, and then for his Dental Check up”.
“I am highly impressed by the Hon Member especially that the hospital is non profit oriented hospital but a little will be charged for the sustainability of the Hospital and as a kind of revolving”.
“Virtually all my life due to my Business of Pharmaceutical Medicines happens to be close to hospital and associated with the Health personnel this has really motivated me to see how our health facilities will be upgraded, in 2009, I personally donated Hospitals equipment and consumables to King Fahad hospital Gusau”.
He appealed to other federal lawmakers representing Zamfara state to emulate him for their constituents to enjoy the dividend of democracy.
