As part of their business expansion commitment as well as ensuring the seamless supply of petroleum products, AA Rano and AYM Shafa Oil and Gas have pledged to establish modern and befitting filling stations in Dutse, the Jigawa state capital.
The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of AA Rano Oil and Gas, Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Rano stated this while receiving members of the State Taskforce on Petroleum Products in his office.
AA Rano explained that in preparations to the establishment of the filling station, a high level team of some Directors and Engineers will visit the state capital Dutse to secure a site as well as make feasibility study for the commencement of the project.
The Chairman and CEO of AA Rano commended Governor Umar Namadi for establishing the State Taskforce on Petroleum Products, describing him as an honest personality with uncommon knowledge on governance.
He said establishing the filling station would assist in ensuring availability and affordability of products to the state and neighboring communities.
Earlier the Chairman of the Taskforce, Retired Colonel Muhd Alhassan represented by Alhaji Usman Na Allah commended AA Rano for establishing Gas Station in Dutse which he said has greatly assisted in bringing down the prices of Gas in the state capital.
He stated further that, the Taskforce would work hand in hand with the oil company to ensure its successful take off, stressed that the visit is part of the Governor’s 12 Point Agenda of attracting investors to the State.
On their part, AY SHAFA OIL AND GAS assured that, Dutse, the Jigawa state capital would be their next destination to establish their presence before the end of the year.
The two major oil marketers also commended the Taskforce for the visit and assured them of their readiness to begin operations in the State as soon as possible.
Hotpen reports that, the presence of the two petroleum marketers will serve as an alternative way for motorists to have other alternatives of consuming the product at a subsidized rate compared to the present situation where some marketers sell petroleum products at their own prices of interest in the state capital Dutse.
