The Kebbi State Independent Electoral Commission ( KBSIEC) has declared All Progressives Congress( APC) candidates as winners in the Saturday’s elections.
While announcing the results on Sunday Chairman of the Commission, Hon Aliyu Muhammed Mera said those who won includes who contested for Chairmen, Vice Chairmen and Councillors.
According to him, the Chairmen and Councillors become victorious having won the elections with the highest votes against other Candidates who contested in the Polls.
Mera added that of the seventeen political parties including APC, participated in the elections, APC Candidates have scored the highest votes and were declared as winners.
In related development, the Chairman of the Commission, Hon Aliyu Muhammed Mera has issued a certificates of return to the elected Chairmen and Vice Chairmen shortly after he announced the result of the elections.
The Certificates were presented to the newly elected Chairmen and Vice Chairmen at a brief ceremony held at the Commission’s headquarters in GRA, Birnin Kebbi.
Mera told the Elected Chairmen and Vice Chairmen that he was mandated by the Commission’s laws to issue the Certificates of return to them immediately after the election’s results was announced by the electoral body.
