The House of representatives member representing Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency in Zamfara state, Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji has empowered over 6,000 of his constituents.
Hon. Aminu Jaji while speaking at the Flag up of the programme in Kaura Namoda town said this is part of his empowerment programme aimed at alleviating the suffering of the masses in his constituency and Zamfara state.
Hon. Jaji who was represented by the Chairman of the distribution exercise, Alhaji Muhammadu Umar said all the 480 polling units across the two local Government Areas of Kaura Namoda and Birnin Magaji benefited from the gesture.
The lawmaker who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Ecological funds had a few months ago empowered some persons with cash and items worth over a Hundred million naira in Zamfara state.
The beneficiaries of this gesture according to the secretary of the Committee Mansur Khalifa Kaura were drawn from the twenty one political wards in Kaura Namoda and Birnin Magaji local Government councils where Hon. Aminu Jaji represented at the National Assembly.
The items distributed are 3,000 bags of rice, 4,500 bags of fertilizer, 200 sewing machines, 100 knitting machines, 500 pasta machines, and one bag of flour to all the beneficiaries.
Others are 20 Welding Machines to business group, and 200 pieces of POS machines ( Monie point) to POS Operators with 10 million Naira cash and 105 borehole repairs materials to youths technicians with 10 million Naira cash.
Similarly, Scholarship was also offered to thirty candidates at the Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda to enhance educational standard in the area.
