The Sheikh Dahiru Islamic Foundation, founded by a renowned Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Dahiru has imparted Qur’anic Knowledge to uncountable Nigerians and other Nationals.
It is said that it started imparted Qur’anic Knowledge to five persons far back in 1982 and later to 3,200 pupils and now to uncountable pupils both from Nigeria and abroad.
Chairman of the Foundation and eldest Son of the founder of the Foundation, Ibrahim Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi revealed this to Journalists during an interview, together with prominent scholars from Senegal, Sudan, Mali, Niger among other African countries for this year’s Maulud with consent of the Kebbi State government where they will offer special prayers and Zirkhr for the state and the country to have absolute peace, free from all sorts of crimes, disasters and poverty.
He further disclosed that the foundation in the last 30 years back, has 500 Qur’anic Schools in Northern Nigeria and the pupils in these Schools offered massive prayers and Zikhrr in every new month of the Islamic Calendar, Muharram for peace and unity to reign in the Country.
Ibrahim Bauchi noted that many graduated students have today become Scholars spreading Qur’anic knowledge all over the nation and other parts of the world.
He commended the State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu for hosting the Maulud in the state as well as the donation of N50 million to the Foundation.
He urged Kebbians and other Nigerians to continue praying for the peace to reign in the state and the country.
