A Federal Government delegation led by Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima visited Bauchi State to deliver President Bola Ahmad Tinubu’s condolences to the government and people of Bauchi State over the passing of the 15th Emir of Ningi, Alhaji Yunusa Muhammad Ɗanyaya.
Speaking at the Council Chamber of the Government House in Bauchi, Senator Shettima expressed President Tinubu’s shock and sadness upon hearing the news of the monarch’s demise.
He praised the late Emir’s contributions to the development of Bauchi State and Nigeria as a whole.
Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, highlighted the significant role the late Emir played in nation-building. He described the monarch as a unifying force who worked tirelessly to promote peace, stability, and development in Bauchi State and beyond.
He also praised the late Emir’s commitment to education, healthcare, and economic development, describing him as a champion of progress and a beacon of hope for his people.
In his response, The Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed who expressed gratitude to President Tinubu and the Vice President for the condolence visit.
He described the late Emir as a revered leader and a symbol of unity in the state.
Governor Mohammed also praised the late Emir’s role in promoting peace and development in the state, saying, He was a true leader and a father to all and that His wisdom and guidance will be greatly missed.
