The Emir of Potiskum, Alhaji Umar Bubaram Ibn Wuriwa Bauya, has paid a solidarity visit to Muhammadu Sanusi II
Wuriwa Bauya, the first Northern Emir to have openly identified with Sanusi II to his palace revealed that he was in Kano to extend his support to the Emir Muhammadu Sanusi ii who also doubled as the Nigeria spiritual Leader of the Tijaniyya sect.
He reminded Emir Sanusi II that “history is repeating itself with his second coming as Emir, “this happened to me some 26 years ago and with the help of Allah I was returned and living peacefully with my people”.
The monarch explained that, “the returns of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi ii, is a significant milestone that justified that he is a good leader who things and act his People’s, as such he should count on my Personal support and that of my people”.
Alhaji Umar Bauya, appealed to the Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II as the spiritual Leader of the Tijaniyya Sect to support them on the building of a Jummaat Mosque at his Palace which they started some years ago but they cannot finished it.
“We are seeking your usual support on the construction of a Jummaat Mosque at my Palace which we started about three years ago but it is been stalled due some financial difficulties, we hope that you will help Us as usual to complete the project”.
Responding the Emir of Kano, Khalifa Dr. Muhammad Sanusi II, thanks the Emir of Potiskum as the first Emir to visit his Palace and show his solidarity.
He said what the Emir did is a vindication of the fact that there exist unity and togetherness among them and this will yield positively on the live, and Security of the people.
