A devastating flood has struck the community of Gamboru, leaving hundreds of residents displaced and in urgent need of assistance.
According to Ali Yerima, Chairman of the Gamboru Youth Development Association, over 150 individuals, including women, children, and the elderly, are currently stranded at the Usman Jidda Shuwa Memorial Secondary School and zaman clinic.
The floodwaters continue to rise, posing a serious threat to their safety and well-being.
The affected community is in dire need of emergency food and water supplies, medical assistance, temporary shelter, and support for evacuation and relocation efforts.
Yerima also urged local authorities and humanitarian organizations are urged to respond promptly to this crisis and provide the necessary aid to the flood victims.
