Over 400 farmers benefitted from agricultural farm inputs at a subsidiary price in Kirikasamma local Government area of Jigawa State.
The agro-dealer of YONABA agro-company, Nuhu Muhammad Kafin Kafin Hausa disclosed this to newsmen shortly after flagging off ceremony of the selling of the farm inputs.
The agro-dealer explained that, the farm inputs sets are 2 bags of NPK, 1 bag of Urea fertiliser, 1 bottle of organic fertiliser and 2 bottle of herbicides and bags of Maize , Millet , Sorghum and rice seeds respectively.
He further stated that each beneficiary will pay the sum of N50,000 for the items while the other percentages will be paid by the Jigawa State as subsidy to farmers.
On his part, the Apex help-liner, Abdulmumin Yunusah Madaci says any beneficiary received alert of the agricultural inputs is entitled for the items at any designated centres.
He added that the agricultural alert messages is for the selected real farmers across the area.
One of the beneficiaries commended the effort of Governor Umar Namadi for empowering the farmers with agricultural farm inputs at a subsidiary price.
