The former Zamfara state governor Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar has organized spiritual prayers session on Tuesday with Islamic scholars in Zamfara state for the success of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s success in tackling banditry in the country.
Sen Yari while opening the prayers session at his residence in Talata Mafara town the headquarters of Talata Mafara local government described the prayers to president Tinubu’s administration as timely for his success in fighting banditry in the country.
According to him, Nigeria under president Bola Ahmed Tinubu needs prayers to all Muslims and other faithful at the current situation where insecurity has been the order of the day in some part of the country do to the activities of armed bandits.
“We have no any place to live than our country, hence the need for all Nigerians to always pray for the success of our president to succeed in the fight against these dreaded terrorists who terrorized our mother land”. He said
According to him, no nation can be sustain where absence of peace is the order of the day, stressing that the federal government under president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is resolved to ensure relative peace return soon in all the affected states with banditry in the country.
Our correspondent gathered that hundreds of Imams and Islamic scholars were attended the prayers session.
