The Zamfara state former governor Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar has been given a pass mark to president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his unwavering commitment to onslaught banditry in the Northwest.
Sen Yari made the commendation while addressing APC supporters at his residence in Talata Mafara Town the headquarters of Talata Mafara local government Tuesday.
According to him, the success recorded by neutralizing one of the bandits kingpin Halilu Sububu and his many lieutenants few weeks ago by the military has been a clear indication that the federal government is doing all it could to contain the lingering insecurity affecting the Northwest.
He further stated that the directive given to minister of state defense and service chiefs to relocate to Sokoto has yielded positive results in addressing insecurity in the zone.
Sen Yari maintained that the federal government will sustain the operation against banditry in the Northwest, hence the need for unflinchingly support by the communities to the military to succeed.
“We are calling on people in the Zamfara and other states affected by banditry to remain calm and law abiding citizens by giving all the positive information to security agencies about criminals movement for quick response”. He said.
On the nationwide first October hardship protest, Sen Abdul’aziz Yari urged ACP supporters in the state to boycott the protest, says the protest is not the best solution to Nigerians problems.
He said the federal government under the leadership of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing everything humanly possible to reinvigorate it’s national economy system for the betterment of Nigerians.
“President Tinubu is doing all the possible steps for the restructuring and reinvigorating the national economy for the brighter future of the nations, I am appealing to our people particularly youth to shun any form of protest capable of breaking law and order in the state “. Sen Yari stated
