President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has scored 91.5 percent of the total number of registered APC members in Yobe State in Saturday’s presidential primary election.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Saturday by Mamma Mohammed, DG Press and Media Affairs to the governor, said Governor Mai Mala who doubles as the collation officer of the presidential primary, stated this while declaring the results of the election.
President Tinubu was declared the winner of the election, having scored 253,804 votes to beat Osifo Stanley, who scored zero votes.
Governor Buni described Yobe State as an APC state and second home to President Tinubu.
“Yobe State will deliver 100% of its vote to President Tinubu in the general election to return to office for his second term,” Gov. Buni assured.
He commended APC supporters for the massive turnout, saying, “We should reflect this in the general election with full force.”
The governor commended the people for the peaceful conduct and “the show of love to President Tinubu and the party”.
