The governing council, Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic Kazaure has approved the appointment of Dr. Bashir Ahmed Danzomo as the acting Rector of the institute.

In the appointment letter signed by the Chairman Governing Council of HAFED,, Dr. Halimat Jummai Kperogi, said the appointment of Dr. Bashir Danzomo was sequel to the expiration of the six months tenure of Dr. Abdullahi Usman Garun Gabas as the Acting Rector of the Institute.

“I pleased to informed you that the Governing Council has approved your appointment as the New Acting Rector of the institution.

“This appointment is with immediate effect from Monday 13th April, 2026, for a period of six months pending the appointment of Substantive Rector of the Polytechnic.
“Accept the assurances of governing council.” The statement concluded.

Dr. Bashir Danzomo, a young and vibrant academician par excellence with vast experience in Mechatronics Engineering until his appointment, is the Director of the Centre for the Utilization of Fabricated Equipment and Students’ Projects in the Institution.
He obtained his first degree in Mechanical Engineering from Modibbo Adamawa University, Yola. He then pursued his MSc in Mechanical Engineering at Bayero University, Kano, and later proceeded to the Islamic University of Malaysia, where he earned his PhD in Mechatronics Engineering.
