Dr. Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna, the consensus aspirant for Gombe State governorship race, has called for unity within the All Progressives Congress, APC, following his emergence as the party’s candidate for the 2027 election.
Dr. Gwamna extended a hand of fellowship to fellow aspirants and their supporters, urging them to work together in the overall interest of Gombe State.
He expressed appreciation to the Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, for the confidence reposed in him, while also commending his leadership and developmental achievements.
Dr. Gwamna pledged to sustain and build upon existing policies and programmes that have positioned the state as a model of peace, progress, and good governance.
He stated that his vision, captured in the initiative “Let’s Build Gombe Together,” is anchored on inclusivity and collective responsibility, noting that all aspirants and stakeholders have contributed significantly to strengthening the APC in the state.
He reassured party members of an open, fair, and respectful political process, where everyone will be treated with dignity and given due recognition.
Gwamna called on party faithful to rally behind Governor Inuwa Yahaya and work towards securing victory for the APC and Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
He further urged supporters across the state to maintain peace and avoid actions that could disrupt the stability currently enjoyed in Gombe.
According to him, all ambitions must align with a higher purpose—to build a safer, stronger, and more prosperous Gombe State.
