Two Kebbi Aspirants seeking for Kebbi Central and South Senatorial districts, Kabiru Sani Giant and Bala Ibn Na-Allah have withdrawn their interests to contest 24 hours to commence the Senate Primary elections in Kebbi State.
Our Correspondent report that the two Aspirants have withdrawn their interests in a letters they sent to APC party offices dated Sunday May 17, 2026.
In their letters, the duo were said to have withdrawn from the contest following the intervention of governor Nasir Idris.
At the venue of affirmation on Monday , Senator Muhammed Adamu Aleiro currently serving at senate assembly representing Kebbi Central Senatorial District has been affirmed as the APC candidate for the 2027.
Similarly, Senator Dr Yahaya Abdullahi representing Kebbi North Senatorial district in the Senate was also got APC ticket after was affirmed at Affirmation venue in Argungu.
The Affirmation excercise was witnessed by governor Nasir Idris, APC State Chairman, Abubakar Kana Zuru and the Chairman affirmation Committee, Sa’idu Nasamu Dakingari and officials from the National headquarters of APC.
