An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Hon. Abdullah Mahmud Gaya, has described the three-year administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as one defined by efforts to strengthen inclusive governance, expand social services, and deepen grassroots engagement in Kano State.
In a reflection on the administration’s journey, Gaya said the government has placed emphasis on key sectors including education, healthcare, infrastructure, and social welfare.
He noted that one of the notable areas of intervention has been public education, where the state government embarked on the rehabilitation of schools, provision of scholarship support, and upgrading of learning facilities across the state.
In a press statement signed and issued to media outlets in Kano, Hon Abdullah Mahmud Gaya said the administration’s focus on public engagement and social sector interventions forms a key part of its governance record, even as assessments of long-term impact continue.
Gaya also observed that as the state moves toward another political cycle, emphasis has been placed on consolidating ongoing projects, strengthening institutions, and sustaining policies aimed at improving living standards across Kano State.
He prayed for continued wisdom, good health, and effective leadership for the governor in the service of the people of Kano State.
