The Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria ( Algovcn) has conducted a sensitization of party faithfuls on voters registration and empower 1100 beneficiaries with 10 thousand each in Malam Madori.
The Chairman of the association Sardaunan Mk hss urged all party faithfuls to possess voters card to exercise their franchise during the election.
He further said, the awareness of the people at grassroots level will fulfill the promise made by Governor Umar Namadi to give 2 million votes to president Bola Ahmad Tinubu during the 2027 General election.
The Secretary of the association who is vice chairman of Gagarawa local government Dr Abdullahi Sa,ad stated that the program will be expanded to wards level to mobilize the citizens on voters registration exercise across Jigawa.
He noted that, the program will be conducted in all the 27 local government councils of the state to ensure success has been recorded.
In his speech , the Chairman of Dutse local government council who is also the Chairman Association of local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) Dr Sibu Abdullahi has urged the party faithfuls to avoid anti party behavior and give maximum support cooperation for the success of the party .
He flagg off the distribution of N1,000,000 to 110 beneficiaries in the area .
Earlier, the council Chairman of Malam madori local government area Salisu sani Garungabas haa welcomed all the participants who honoured the occasion and urged party supporters to give much support to ensure party record huge success during the 2027 general election.
