The wedding celebrations of Engr. Jibril Saleh Danpullo and his heartthrob, Ikram Atiku Bagudu, daughter of the Minister of Budget and National Planning and former Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu, are set to take centre stage in Abuja with a series of colourful ceremonies expected to attract some of Nigeria’s most influential personalities.
High Soceity reports that although the couple’s wedding Fatiha was solemnised on Sunday, April 12, 2026, the marriage has continued to receive an outpouring of goodwill messages and congratulatory wishes from across the country, particularly from youth-focused organisations, community leaders and stakeholders who have closely followed Engr. Danpullo’s remarkable contributions to youth development in Nigeria.

The week-long celebrations will commence with the Kamu ceremony on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the AIB Event Centre, City Park, Abuja, beginning at 8:00 p.m.
This will be followed by a grand Dinner on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the Armed Forces Event Centre, Asokoro, Abuja, where distinguished guests from across the country are expected to celebrate with the newlyweds.
The festivities will climax with the traditional Budan Kai ceremony on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Admiralty Event Centre, Asokoro, Abuja, bringing together family members, friends, associates and well-wishers in what promises to be another memorable occasion.
The high-profile events are expected to attract an impressive gathering of governors, ministers, senators and their spouses, as well as dozens of members of the House of Representatives and state Houses of Assembly, reflecting the esteem in which both families are held across the country.
