The Executive Chairman of Gombe South Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Auwalu Bappi, has reaffirmed his commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC), pledging to mobilise grassroots support for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Bappi made the pledge while attending an APC stakeholders’ meeting for Gombe Local Government Area held at Custodian Hotel, Gombe.

The meeting brought together party leaders, stakeholders and supporters to review the party’s preparedness for the 2027 elections and discuss strategies for strengthening internal unity, cohesion and grassroots mobilisation.
Speaking at the gathering, Bappi commended the administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for what he described as its developmental efforts across the state.
He also expressed confidence in the APC governorship candidate, Dr Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna, popularly known as Sardaunan Gombe, urging party members to close ranks and work collectively towards securing victory for the party in 2027.
The chairman stressed the importance of sustained engagement with the grassroots, saying unity among party leaders and members would be crucial to the APC’s electoral success.

He pledged his continued support for the party’s programmes and objectives, while calling on stakeholders to prioritise peace, development and political stability in their political engagements.
Bappi attended the meeting alongside his deputy, Hon. Boderi, as well as Alhaji Abubakar Umar, popularly known as Majidadin Gabukka, and other party leaders and stakeholders.
The meeting formed part of the APC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its structures, deepen internal cohesion and consolidate grassroots support across Gombe State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
