Government Secondary School Tahfizul Quran Dantamo has celebrated the achievement of no fewer than 55 students, 53 females and 2 males who completed memorization, according to the school’s principal, Malam Umar Hashim.
The Principal of the school , Hashim noted” that the school authority organizes the event each year to honor the graduating students, attributed the success to the hard work and dedication of the entire teaching staff, who remain committed to delivering quality and productive education.”

He also acknowledged the generous contributions of local individuals and indigenes, whose support has been instrumental in the school’s development, particularly in constructing classrooms, a mosque, and other facilities.
The Executive Secretary of the Jigawa State Islamic Education Bureau, Dr. Mubarak Abdulwahab Kafin Hausa, used the occasion to reaffirm the state government’s commitment to the school.
He reminded the management of a pledge made during the 2024 graduation ceremony—that the government would, insha’Allah, construct a perimeter fence around the school to enhance security.
In his remarks, the Emir of Hadejia and Chairman Jigawa State Council of Chiefs, Dr. Alhaji Adamu Abubakar Maje Haruna, presented prizes to some best performance students, pray for the graduating students and encouraged them to redouble their efforts in pursuit of a brighter future.

In her speech, the First lady and wife of the Jigawa State Governor, Hajiya Hsdiza Umar Namadi commended the graduated students who memorized the holy Qur’an, further donated bundles females wrappers to all graduated students where as some donates funds respectively .
