Senator Babangida Hussaini, representing Jigawa North-West Senatorial District, has congratulated former Governor of Zamfara State, His Excellency Abdul’Aziz Yari Abubakar, on his appointment as Director-General of the campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
In a congratulatory message, Senator Hussaini described Yari’s appointment as well-deserved, noting that his extensive political experience, organisational capacity and deep understanding of Nigeria’s political landscape would be invaluable to the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the country approaches the 2027 general elections.
He said the appointment was a recognition of Yari’s loyalty, political maturity and demonstrated commitment to the growth and consolidation of the APC.
“I have no doubt that under your leadership, the Campaign Council will provide the strategic direction, unity and mobilisation required to secure a decisive victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the All Progressives Congress,” Senator Hussaini stated.
The Senator expressed particular confidence that Yari’s leadership would inspire an inclusive campaign that recognises the contributions of every state, constituency and stakeholder that has remained committed to the party.
According to him, the people of Jigawa State have consistently demonstrated their support for the APC and the Renewed Hope agenda, assuring that they look forward to working closely with Yari and the Campaign Council to strengthen the party’s structures, broaden its support base and secure an overwhelming victory in 2027.
Senator Hussaini further described Yari’s emergence at this critical time as “timely and reassuring,” expressing confidence that the former governor would deploy his considerable political experience to unite party members, galvanise supporters and lead the APC campaign with courage, fairness and strategic focus.
He prayed that Almighty Allah would grant Yari the wisdom, strength and success required to discharge the responsibility effectively in the service of the party and the nation.
