The Special Adviser on Media And Publicity to governor, Nasir Idris of Kebbi state, Alhaji Yahaya Sarki under (Yahaya Sarki Foundation) has given N20,000 Cash to two hundred Vulnerables in Nassarawa II ward in Birnin Kebbi local government area of the state.
The benefiting Vulnerables include disabled women and youths as well as family and friends in the area as well as APC supporters in the state.
Speaking during the presentation of the gesture to the benefiaries on Sunday at Shiyyar-Sarakuna Gawo area in Birnin Kebbi metropolis, Yahaya Sarki disclosed that he initiated the gesture which was the second phase of the programme was informed encouraged by Governor Nasir Idris’s idealogies on the importance of assisting the less privileged in the society.
According to him, the benefiaries were drawn from various groups within the Nassarawa II ward, including 14 members of the Late Sarki Abdullahi, APC Youths in Nassarawa II ward, members of the Yahaya Sarki Foundation and the Yan-Sarki Youths Forum among others.
He urged the benefiaries to utilise what they received to invest in the meaningful ventures that will enhance their livings.
He also applauded the efforts of the wife of the governor, Dr Nafisa Nasir Idris for her empowerment initiatives designed targeted women and youths in the state.
Sarki also announced for the another segment of his Foundation’s gesture which is fumigation against mosquitoes in Nassarawa II ward in the state.
