The Commissioner representing the North-East on the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Alhaji Abba Jato Kala, has felicitated with former Yobe State Governor and Senator representing Yobe East, His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Ibrahim Geidam on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Jato Kala described Senator Geidam as a distinguished leader, accomplished public servant, consummate politician, strategist and gentleman par excellence.
He described Geidam as a brother and bosom friend whose life and public service have been defined by commitment, humility, excellence and dedication to the wellbeing of the people.
Jato Kala noted that from Geidam in Yobe State to the highest levels of public service in Nigeria, Senator Geidam’s journey has remained an inspiration to many and a testament to the virtues of service and leadership.
According to him, Geidam’s record as a former Deputy Governor, Governor and Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria reflects a deep commitment to public service and good governance.
He further commended the senator for his contributions to strengthening institutions and promoting prudence, transparency and accountability in governance at the local, state and national levels.
Jato Kala also acknowledged Geidam’s service as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, particularly his contributions to the nation’s security architecture and efforts to support the development and strengthening of the Nigeria Police Force.
“Your Excellency, as you mark this special day, I celebrate not only your accomplishments in public service but also the humility, friendship and humanity that have distinguished you over the years.
