The Jigawa State Government has reiterated its unwavering commitment to continue sponsoring doctors for residency training, a move aimed at bolstering quality healthcare delivery across the state.
The Jigawa State Head of Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri, made this known while receiving the newly elected executive members of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in his office.
He highlighted the state government’s significant investment of billions of naira towards enhancing healthcare services.
Alhaji Muhammad K Dagaceri, emphasized that Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi’s administration prioritizes quality healthcare and will continue to give the health sector utmost attention. He assured the NMA’s new executive members of his office’s full support and cooperation.
While Congratulating the new NMA leaders on their emergence, the Head of Service pledged to strengthen the existing cordial working relationship with the Nigerian Medical Association.
Earlier, the newly elected Chairman of the association, Dr. Abubakar Dahiru, to the Head of Service that, they were in his office to formally introduced themselves as new leaders of the association. He expressed appreciation for the Jigawa State Government’s continued sponsorship of NMA members for residency training and acknowledged the recent recruitment of medical doctors. Dr. Abubakar Dahiru also appealed for further recruitment to address staffing needs.
