The Sector Commander Zamfara, CC Aliyu Ma’aji has called on staff of the command to shun issues of extortion and bribery while extending dedicated service to the people of Zamfara state.

RS10.3 Zamfara Sector Command, said the SC made the call while on a working visit to Tsafe unit command.
The Sector Commander also reminded them of the customer service week and informed that customers are the motoring public and others stakeholders and must be seen to be fair and just to members of the public.

The Sector Commander further informed that anybody caught with any case of extortion would be shown the way out, he told them not to capitalize on the issue of insecurity and tarnish the good image of the corps.
He also urged them to be security conscious and be prayerful to the FRSC management and the country at large, appealed to motorists to avoid overloading, route violations, use of phone while driving and other traffic violations.

He also reiterates that the Ember Months campaign has commenced and called on transport unions and fleet operators to cooperate with FRSC in ensuring safer roads across the state.
“The Command’s toll-free line 122 remains active for reporting traffic gridlocks, crashes and obstructions”. The CS concluded.
