In the video, the man was seen carrying his baby girl, who had no clothes on. His wife was beside him, while a gunman pointed a gun at them.

While Ahmad was speaking in the freezing cold, his right hand was swollen. He said, “We are appealing to the public to help us, N300 million is needed for us to be released.”

In the video, he was with his wife, who kept saying nothing but “Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un (Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return).”
There is no doubt that the Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Uba Sani, should urgently take necessary measures to rescue this family, if only out of sympathy for the infant caught in this ordeal.
