The suspension order, which will run from October 19, 2026 to October 19, 2027, was announced on Monday at a well-attended press conference convened by the party leadership.
Speaking on behalf of the party, leaders of Pri. Sch. Gantsa Fada Yamma Polling Unit, Unit No. 17-05-04-002, the political base of Hon. Tukar Gantsa, said the decision was taken to entrench discipline, strengthen internal unity, and position the ADC as a credible alternative for victory in 2027.
They stated that the action followed due diligence and extensive deliberations on issues bordering on breach of party discipline, disregard for internal cohesion and violation of the party’s laid-down procedures.

According to them, the ADC in Buji is on a mission to build a united, disciplined and election-winning machinery, warning that acts of sabotage and indiscipline capable of derailing the party’s 2027 project will not be tolerated.
They described the suspension as a strong political statement that the current leadership will not compromise on loyalty, respect for party hierarchy, and commitment to the ideals of the ADC as massive mobilization continues across Jigawa.
While reaffirming faith in internal democracy and rule of law, the party assured that all internal grievances will continue to be addressed through constitutional channels.
