I Was Elected Massively By People Of Zamfara North Senatorial– Senator Kaura Insists

Senator Tijjani Yahaya Kaura has declared that his declaration as the winner of the Zamfara North Senatorial Primary election was authentic conducted by the members of the election panel sent by the APC national headquarters.

Addressing newsmen at his Kaura Nagode, Senator Tijjani Kaura alleged that, the Panel Chairman was hijacked by some anti democratic elements to an unknown destination.

He alleged that, the Panel Chairman was abducted and single handedly announced purported results declaring Sen. Sahabi Yau but majority of Panel members jointly collated the result and made official declared him the winner.

Kaura, therefore, said the abduction of the Panel Chairman was an attempt to truncate democracy which electorate would not succumb to.

He therefore, dismissed claims by opponents over the purported declaration of a different person as winner saying such act was null and void and has no effect.

According to him, the APC members have turned out enmass to exercise their civic right by electing him as their Senatorial Candidate for the 2027 general election.

Kaura expressed appreciation for the confidence electorate reposed in him to represent the Zamfara North Senatorial at the National Assembly.

He urged the stakeholders at all levels to respect the will of the electorate in the Senatorial district and announcement made by the members of the primary election committee.
