“For those parading themselves as contenders and daydreaming about taking over, we make it abundantly clear: there is no vacancy in the Presidential Villa, nor in Kano Government House. The people are satisfied, the leadership has delivered, and continuity is assured,” he declared.
Gaya, who also serves as the North-West Deputy Coordinator of the Agro-Allied Mobilisation Directorate of the APC Presidential Campaign Council and Deputy Coordinator of Arewa4Asiwaju (A4A), Kano South, dismissed the aspirations of individuals positioning themselves as contenders for the presidency and Kano governorship.
He insisted that the achievements of the two administrations had strengthened the case for continuity.
In a statement issued to media organisations in Kano, Gaya said his political commitment, alongside that of his supporters and allies, was driven by what he described as the purposeful leadership and developmental strides of both leaders.
The APC chieftain particularly commended President Tinubu and Governor Yusuf for their resilience, humility and dedication to public service, noting that the interventions of their respective administrations across critical sectors deserved recognition.

He said the governments’ focus on urban renewal, education, healthcare, infrastructure development and the welfare of public servants demonstrated their commitment to placing citizens’ interests at the centre of governance.
According to him, ongoing urban renewal projects aimed at restoring the beauty and dignity of Kano metropolis, alongside investments in social infrastructure and essential services, underscored the administration’s determination to address the state’s developmental challenges.

He, however, urged the administration to sustain the momentum, strengthen accountability and ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every local government area, ward and community across the state.
“Development is a continuous journey, and the expectations of our people remain high. We encourage the governor to sustain the momentum, strengthen accountability and ensure that the benefits of government programmes extend to every local government, ward and community across Kano State,” he said.
The political mobiliser also pledged to intensify grassroots mobilisation across Kano State to consolidate support for President Tinubu and Governor Yusuf ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He said his political structures and networks would be deployed to sensitise voters, strengthen grassroots engagement and galvanise widespread support for the two leaders.
“We will go from ward to ward and door to door to consolidate the gains of this administration. Our commitment is total and unwavering. We will deploy our structures, resources and grassroots networks to defend the mandate and deepen democracy,” Gaya stated.
He maintained that the developmental strides recorded under Governor Yusuf had earned the administration the loyalty and continued support of his political group, stressing the need to sustain the progress beyond 2027.
