SMEDAN to float microfinance bank to ease lending to MSMEs
As an end of beginning, it has resurfaced again as a golden chance to pen about the generosity of one of Nigeria’s season Administrator (Dr Dikko Umar Radda) flying high in the senses of Nigerian people vis-à-vis the ups and downs of life situations intertwined as double helical strands of our nation’s failure and progress—and this doesn’t point just to the moniker of the Katsina-born Director General Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), but an undisputed Nigerian politician and philanthropist.
For over a decade, a long journey into political pool has defined the reality of this unique kind of Northern Nigerian dramatis personae whose austere looks are sharp in contrast to his hidden potential. One thing about his life is that, by any means, Dr Radda cannot be read by his looks—but by his words and his actions. And this is no qualms connected to his upbringing as a kid, perhaps, and continues into the present as a great man’s attire.
