Barely 70 days before the general elections of 2023, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, His Excellency Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkareem Zaura (A. A. Zaura), is undoubtedly tipped to be the most popular and celebrated candidate among all parties in Kano State. Zaura, who is vying for the Kano Central Senatorial District, has earned this position through polls, surveys, and public opinion conducted by political experts and Nextier.
Accordingly, the polls were randomly conducted in Kano State, where millions of people were interviewed, and they suggest Zaura’s magnanimity and humbleness through entrepreneurship and empowering youths and women in the state earn him the highest points above all other candidates in all the parties. It shows that Zaura is capable of scoring over 60.21 percent in comparison to all his peers.
During the course of the exercise, which took more than two months, out of every five respondents, three or four were definite that nothing would make them change their minds and vote for another candidate. They believe that public offices should be held by distinguished individuals who have the best interests of their constituents at heart and have viable and workable agendas.
They added that among all the candidates contesting for the same position as Alhaji Abdulsalam Zaura in Kano State, no one has a workable mission and vision like him. This singular advantage, according to them, makes him stand out.
Why Zaura Drums Supports for Tinubu/Shattima and Gawuna/Garo?
The Kano APC Central Senatorial Candidate, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkareem Zaura (A. A. Zaura), has declared his full support for the presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Nasir Yusuf Gawuna/Murtala Sulen Garo ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Mr. Zaura pledged his unalloyed support for Tinubu, saying he was sure Nigerians would not regret voting for Tinubu in 2023. He said Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the people’s choice and the man Nigeria needs at this point in time. Adding that Asiwaju is an experienced leader who has shown what he can do in Lagos State, we expect him to apply the same magic formula to transform Nigeria for the better.
Zaura assured Tinubu that Kano State stands still for him, as assured by the executive governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. He assured that Ganduje trusted Tinubu’s expertise and knowledge on governance and a leader who would be just, fair, and equitable to all.
Similarly, the APC senatorial candidate calls on all his supporters across the state to support the APC gubernatorial candidates, Malam Nasir Yusuf Gawuna and Alhaji Murtala Sulen Garo, come the 2023 general elections. He said, Supporting Gawuna is a clarion call, which must not be left out. He stated that the campaign council’s task was to ensure the APC’s total victory in the 2023 general election in the state and nation as a whole.
According to him, the Ganduje administration had done a lot in Kano State in the last seven and a half years, which had changed the narrative of governance and the advancement of the common man.
The successes, according to Mr. Zaura, were achieved through collective efforts, and the same team would support all the APC candidates to victory, adding that a vote for the APC in 2023 would be a vote for progress and development.
