The Katsina Sons & Daughters Forum(KASODA) has delivered a scathing rebuttal to the so-called Arewa Unity Forum (AUF), dismissing it as a faceless group of political mercenaries attempting to sow confusion with baseless propaganda against Governor Dikko Umar Radda.
In a blistering statement signed by its Chairman, Comrade Musa Isa Kurfi on Saturday, the forum described AUF’s attack on Governor Radda as “the rantings of frustrated revisionists who have no political weight, no credibility, and no relevance.”
“This so-called Arewa Unity Forum is nothing but a makeshift platform for failed politicians and disgruntled elements who have been rejected by the people,” the statement read.
“No serious-minded Katsina citizen takes them seriously, but we are compelled to set the record straight so that unsuspecting social media users are not misled by their cheap propaganda.”
The forum dismissed AUF’s claim that the people of Katsina have lost faith in Governor Radda, calling it “a shameless lie manufactured by jobless political traders with zero connection to the realities on the ground.”
It accused the group of ignoring the governor’s tireless efforts in fighting banditry, strengthening rural security, and implementing bold economic policies that have begun yielding results.
“It is ironic that these charlatans, who were nowhere to be found when bandits ravaged Katsina under previous administrations, have suddenly found their voice now that a working governor is making visible progress,” the statement continued.
“Where were they when our mothers and sisters were fleeing their villages? Where were they when criminals ruled the forests? Governor Radda has done more in months than previous leaders did in years, and only the wilfully blind will deny this”, the statement noted.
The forum described AUF’s outburst as “a failed attempt to gain cheap attention” and urged Katsina citizens to disregard their antics. It warned that these so-called activists, who have no track record of service, are only interested in misleading the public for their selfish gains.
“Governor Radda is a leader of action, not noise. While political jobbers waste their time issuing empty statements, including petty examples like missing a meal at the Katsina First Lady’s official event, disregards the truth that she is on the ground delivering real solutions. Katsina has moved past these expired propagandists, and no amount of social media gimmicks will bring them back to relevance,” the forum concluded.
