In my years of public service, I’ve seen leaders come and go, each leaving their mark. However, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago’s vision, determination, and actions have transformed lives in Niger State like never before. Without a doubt, he’s the best thing that’s happened to our state.
TRANSFORMING INFRASTRUCTURE
Governor Bago has opened a new chapter in Niger State’s development, with over 1,000km of roads being constructed or rehabilitated. These projects are easing transportation, boosting trade, and reshaping our state’s face.
DRIVING AGRICULTURAL PROSPERITY
The Farmer Governor has turned agriculture into a driver of our economy.
His policies are shifting our state from subsistence farming to a modern green economy, empowering thousands of farmers and creating jobs.
REBUILDING HEALTHCARE
Under his leadership, the health sector is receiving an unprecedented boost.
Twenty state-of-the-art primary healthcare centers have been completed, with over 80 more underway, ensuring quality healthcare reaches remote communities.
REFORMING EDUCATION
Governor Bago’s declaration of a state of emergency on education has triggered reforms aimed at expanding access, improving quality, and modernizing school infrastructure.
His focus on nomadic education and the School for the Future program ensures no child is left behind.
ENDORSEMENT FOR SECOND TERM – 2027
Given his achievements, it’s no surprise that the call for Governor Bago to continue beyond 2027 has become a resounding chorus. A second term will ensure continuity and allow for the consolidation of these unprecedented gains.
As the Executive Chairman of Agaie Local Government Area, I join millions of voices in declaring my full endorsement for Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago to seek a second term in 2027. With him at the helm, we’ll complete the transformation we’ve started and secure a brighter tomorrow for all.
