The Bauchi State chapter of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has reaffirmed its resolve to prevent the domination of its structure by wealthy individuals, pledging to uphold internal stability, inclusiveness, and credible leadership.
State Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Maigari Misau, made this known during the party’s maiden stakeholders’ meeting in Bauchi, describing the NDC as a litigation-free and crisis-free platform with a solid foundation for growth.
He noted that the party remains open to progressive Nigerians committed to national development and citizens’ welfare, said the NDC aims to provide a viable alternative capable of addressing Nigeria’s socio-economic challenges, urging party leaders across the 20 local government areas to intensify grassroots mobilisation through sustained membership registration.
He expressed optimism over growing public interest in the party, stressing that many citizens are aligning with its vision for a better Nigeria.
The chairman assured members and aspirants of a level playing field, adding that mechanisms have been established to prevent internal disputes.
He further emphasised the party’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and active participation, urging members to embrace issue-based politics and unity as key drivers for building a formidable and credible political movement.
