The GMD/CEO First Class Group of Companies, Dr. Badamasi Shu’aibu Burji has been elected unopposed as Chairman of the Nigerian Association of Small Scale Industrialists, NASSI, FCT Chapter, alongside his Executive Council.
The peaceful election was conducted at Barcelona Hotel, Abuja, with members unanimously endorsing Dr. Burji’s leadership and vision for small scale industrial growth in the FCT.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected chapter chairman Dr. Badamasi Burji described SMEs as the real backbone of any economy, and we have the power to change the game too. “Let’s think big, work smart, and prove that Nigeria’s growth will come from us.
“We must work with the fear of God, we must put our members first, before ourselves.
We are here to build a legacy, not just to hold positions. He noted.
Dr. Burji said legacy is only built by one family, as such from today, let us accept to be one family. No big man, no small man. Only NASSI FCT members.
He stated: “My 4-Year Loyalty & Action Plan: By God’s grace, our loyalty to NASSI National will be proven through action.
“Our aim is clear: Support FCT members to grow, export, and compete globally through TRAINING, EXPORT, and MODERNIZATION.
Why I Am Confident We Will Succeed: I do not come to you as a stranger to service. By Allah’s grace, I served as Senior Member of NGE, ANA, and NUJ, holding different positions.” He assured.
