The Director General, Jigawa State Investment Promotion Agency (INVESTJIGAWA), Hajia Aisha Mujaddadi has described the establishment and strengthening of the InvestJigawa as a reflection of Governor Namadi’s unwavering commitment to attracting and facilitating quality investments.
In her welcome address at the opening ceremony of the Jigawa State Investment Summit, Aisha Mujadaddi, said today’s summit is designed not only to showcase investment opportunities, but also to foster meaningful dialogue between government, investors, development partners, financial institutions, and the private sector.
The summit according to Hajia Mujaddadi is more than a gathering for stakeholders, It is a declaration of Jigawa State’s readiness to become one of Nigeria’s leading destinations for investment, innovation, and industrialization.
Jigawa State is strategically positioned with enormous opportunities: Vast agriculture and agro-processing, renewable energy, manufacturing, education, housing, and the digital economy.
“We have a vibrant youth population, peaceful environment, expanding infrastructure, and investor-friendly policies.” She noted
According to her, the administration of Governor Namadi has undertaken giant strides and significant reforms aimed at improving the ease of doing business in our state, “This undoubtedly makes Jigawa an ideal hub for both domestic and foreign investments, under the visionary leadership of Governor Malam Umar Namadi.
He explained that we believe that the collaboration remains the cornerstone of sustainable economic development.
She said: “Over the course of this summit, participants will engage in insightful discussions, sector-specific presentations, business networking sessions, and the unveiling of strategic investment opportunities that have the potential to create jobs, stimulate industrialization, and improve the quality of life for our citizens.
