Kano State Government has mobilized to site contractors for the construction of perimetre fence, four (4) Gates and Security chalets for Amana City.
To that effect, a delegation of Government officials including the technical experts engaged for the project led by Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Housimg Development, Arc. Ibrahim Yakubu Adamu have arrived at Amana City for an on-site final assessment to enable immediate commencement of the project.
Messrs Manskhu Nigeria Limited, a construction firm with a track records of effective service delivery is the company awarded with the project by the State Government through the Ministry of Housing Development.
The present administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf is adding, not only a befitting new look but a weighable value to a City. A modernized and beautiful city wall will be constructed. The whole boundaries of Amana City will now be fully fenced, four (4) Entrance and Exit gates will be provided at an appropriately desiganted angles along with security chalets for ease of motorists’ movement and routine security surveillance within the city.
As part of the ongoing efforts of the present administration towards prioritizing public concern, recently, the Juma’at Mosque of the Amana City has been fully renovated and adequately equipped to create enabling religious gatherings in a conducive atmosphere and wellbeing of the residents and other neighborhoods.
Dischargimg public responsibility in accordence with a clear vision, mission of the present adminostration of Governor Abba Kabir most of daily engagements emanating from the Office of the Honourable Commissioner of Housing Development are commitments geared towards making a ‘Better Kano’ especially regarding to urban renewal, slums’ resuscitation, environmental beautification and smart urbanization.
