A member of the Board of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority, Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya, has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima following his re-nomination as President Bola Tinubu’s running mate for the 2027 presidential election.
In a statement issued in Kano, Gaya described Shettima’s re-nomination as well deserved, saying it reflected President Tinubu’s confidence in the Vice President’s loyalty, competence, experience and contributions to the administration.
He said, “I warmly congratulate Your Excellency on your well-deserved re-nomination as the running mate to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election.
“Having witnessed your unwavering commitment to national service, humility and dedication to duty, I am delighted by this recognition. Your steadfast loyalty, wisdom and exemplary leadership continue to inspire confidence and admiration.”
Gaya stated that the Tinubu-Shettima ticket would provide an opportunity to consolidate and showcase the achievements of the Renewed Hope administration ahead of the 2027 poll.
He expressed confidence that the ticket would once again secure the mandate of Nigerians at the next general election.
The former lawmaker also prayed for Allah to grant the Vice President strength, wisdom, good health and guidance as he continues to serve the country alongside the President.
