As the political climate is getting fully saturated in preparations for 2027 political rebirth, and as the various actors and teams set their targets, in Jigawa state the dynamics are quite clear and straight, as it will be more of a battle between the patriots and the stray elements of politics who may not easily decipher between their individual needs and the collective interests of the people who will be the Final Judges in the contests.
The political climate in Nigeria seems to be getting tense by the day in preparations for the general elections which will obviously be the most contested election in the history of Nigeria. It will be a hot contest in each category by the fact that the various actors and political parties seem to be enmeshed in one quagmire or the other. The major political parties all seem to be in leadership crises; and image rebuild.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) comparatively has less of such challenges both at national and at the state levels. There may be some hiccups here and there; and that is the beauty of democracy. Democracy is much more dynamic and egalitarian where all stakeholders have the right to express interests and tender complaints with a view to cementing the achievements attained by the party.
In Jigawa state, the story is that of strengthened partnership, leadership with humility, democratic humanism, and that of inclusion that fosters common goals, and common identity. An identity of civility, simplicity and innovative mentorship from the governor – Mallam Umar A Namadi fca. His focus is that of making Jigawa state stronger, more united and economically prosperous towards achieving sustainable growth and development.
The governor has so far made some strong marks in the state in the areas of education, health, infrastructure, agriculture, and to a great extent human capital development for the benefits of the state. He has demonstrated consistently that the task of nation and state building is a collective responsibility which calls for spiritual values, and inclusive approaches at all times.
The political groups that do not realize these objectives being promoted and sustained by the governor are seemingly out of touch with realities. Mallam Umar Namadi loves peace, virtues and unity of purpose. He is averse to self-centeredness, reactionary traits and discriminatory tendencies. These and many more virtues he proved to be his tenets in politics.

The vast majority of Jigawa citizens have witnessed and received same.
The various political elements in the state have equally realized this … but for some who have innate and vaulting ambitions may not publicly acknowledge it. There may be some unrefined elements in the system, but that notwithstanding,
Mallam Umar Namadi never and will never tolerate indolence and double standard. Jigawa deserves the best from each citizen of the state; and that will always be the gauge and measurement yardstick for his successes or otherwise.
Good is never good where better is expected from each person at any time. This is a hallmark for civility and humility.
There is never a half way between success or failure, and Mallam Umar Namadi is committed to absolute success, and Jigawa people have come to terms with that. The various candidates aspiring for various offices were brought to good understanding that the party and the government wish the best to each of them, and the need to work together for the party and the state is a task that must be observed with the best inputs at all levels.
The D-Day is sooner than later, and the last man standing on the day will be Mallam Umar A Namadi with Allah’s support and guide. The citizens of Jigawa state are set to make Jigawa state first amongst equal for posterity.
Attention: Pensioners in Jigawa state have recently got a booster, as 65.7% increments in their monthly pensions have been approved by the government with effect from July 2027. A sum of 2.3 Billion Naira was injected in to state pension fund to accommodate the difference.
Cheers to a leader of virtues!
