The African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in Kano State, Alhaji Ibrahim Ali Amin Little, has condemned the attack on journalists covering the All Progressives Congress (APC) rally at Sani Abacha Stadium.
Little described the incident as “unfortunate, unacceptable and uncalled for,” calling on security agencies to intensify efforts to end political thuggery in the state.

He made the call in a statement signed by his Special Assistant, Adnan Mukhtar. “Politicians are guilty of recruiting and using thugs during political rallies, and I believe this is absolutely wrong,” Little said.
He said political rallies should be platforms for presenting ideas and engaging citizens, rather than promoting violence and criminality.
Little sympathised with the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), affected journalists and other victims of the incident.

He also pledged that his administration, if elected, would have zero tolerance for political thuggery and violence and prioritise the protection of lives and property.
