A renowned legal practitioner cum APC Chieftain, Barrister Kaloma Dahiru Mustapha, has called on citizens across Jigawa state to actively participate in the electoral process by obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Barrister Kaloma made the call during an interaction with members of the public, emphasizing that the PVC remains the only instrument through which citizens can exercise their constitutional right to elect leaders of their choice.

According to him, meaningful development, good governance, and sustainable progress can only be achieved when citizens actively participate in the democratic process through voter registration and informed voting.
He urged all eligible residents of Jigawa State who are yet to register or collect their PVCs to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), stressing that collective participation will strengthen democracy and ensure that governance reflects the aspirations of the people.
The legal luminary also called on political leaders, stakeholders, and public office holders to strengthen leadership structures, promote accountability, and build strong institutions capable of sustaining peace, development, and national progress.
He noted that responsible leadership, coupled with active civic participation, remains essential for advancing the growth and prosperity of Jigawa State and Nigeria at large.

Barrister Kaloma reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote public enlightenment, democratic values, and community development.
