The party’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Yusuf Fasaha, made the call in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano.
“I want to assure you that as the PRO of the party, the problem is not from us.
“We have consulted INEC, and they told us that the problem was with the computer, and they will rectify it.
“So, everybody should remain calm; as from now to Monday, another list containing his name will be out,” he said.

He said that Abdussalam-Gwarzo had fulfilled all the requirements of the election, adding that “everything was done at the right time”.Shop African Art
“We have seen the list and will continue with consultation on the matter,” he said.
Similarly, SolaceBase reports that Dr Yusuf Ibrahim Kofarmata, Caucus Secretary of NDC House of Representatives candidates in Kano Municipal Constituency (KMC) said the omission of Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo’s name from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) records was an error by the commission, assuring supporters that efforts were underway to correct it.

Kofarmata disclosed this in a statement posted on his verified Facebook page on Saturday.

He said Gwarzo, the party’s candidate, completed his registration within the stipulated period, adding that INEC included his name in the party’s registration records.
He further explained that the NDC had uploaded Gwarzo’s name to INEC’s portal, insisting that the omission was not due to any failure by the candidate or the party to fulfil the necessary requirements.
“We have now received confirmation that the omission was from INEC, and they are currently making efforts to correct it,” Kofarmata said.
NAN observed that the list contained 17 gubernatorial candidates and their running mates from different political parties.
