Hon. Gaya said the APC is a broad family with room for every interest, noting that the party’s strength lies not in factional dominance but in accommodating differences and uniting members around a common vision.
“Our party is big enough for all interests. My responsibility is not to create loyalists or divide members into camps, but to build a winning family where every bloc, every stakeholder and every committed member sees themselves as part of our collective journey.

Positions have come and gone. Some of us have been fortunate to occupy certain positions, while others have not. But political positions are temporary. Today, there is no winner and no loser. We are all members of one winning family.”
He assured that his leadership will be guided by fairness, consultation and respect, and that no individual or bloc will be deliberately sidelined.
He called on elders, youths, women, grassroots mobilizers, former aspirants and loyal members to set aside grievances, resist divisive tendencies and focus on strengthening the party’s structure for greater electoral victories.

“Genuine leadership is not measured by the number of loyalists a leader gathers, but by the number of people he brings together. My commitment is to carry everybody along and give every interest a sense of belonging. Nobody should be treated as an outsider in a family to which we all belong.”

Hon. Gaya added that his doors remain open to all stakeholders, stating: “We will not build a house for a few; we will build a home for all. Together, we are stronger.”
