The US / Iran war has been a protracted palaver for almost two years, with heavy casualties on US and its surrogate accomplice – the State of Israel. The conspiracies and maneuvers of the US to take a lead in the war keep on hitting the rocks, as Iran everyday come up with renewed strategies and plans to counter the US threats of total ‘’annihilation’’. US Trump has just recently admitted that striking a deal with Iran is ‘’extremely’’ difficult.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio tells US media that reaching a deal with Iran is extremely difficult and economic pressure will continue until Tehran stops targeting commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. This is coming at a time when a rockets target Aden International Airport in Yemen, as the Houthis say they fired a ballistic missile at the Badr camp in the southern city.
Sequel to this, multiple rockets target Iranian opposition group in northern Iraq. Four rockets have targeted the headquarters of the Kurdistan Freedom Party, in eastern Erbil in northern Iraq. These actions seem to be trying to escalate the conflict beyond the borders of Iran in the wider middle east and possibly the global context. This is also coming at a time when Saudi Arabia says its forces are engaged in heavy and fierce fighting against the Houthis in Kahboub, southwestern Yemen.
The Iranian Republican Guard Council – IRGC, warns that internet cables under the Strait of Hormuz will be targeted if Iran’s infrastructure is attacked.

US is now in desperate bid to see the de-escalation of the conflict as the mid-term elections in the US is very close. It may be a severe set back to Trump and Netanyahu if no any specific gain is recorded in favor of the US.
Iran has thus, set a red line for US talks. It calls for unconditional lift of sanctions, and an end to threats of any form; and that ‘’ not a single gram of its uranium leaves its shores’’. This is also coming at a time when President Trump slammed Iran as peace talks remain unclear, accusing the regime of killing Americans with roadside bombs; and hanging protesters from cranes. Iran is very particular about this war, as it claims that the war is a decisive lifeline indicator for survival. What happened in Venezuela is always a reference point in this regard.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Iran and Russia have never ‘’worked as closely’’ together as they are now. This is an important indicator of the possibility of a prolonged war cum conflict, and the consequential bi-products of its aftermath. Then, the embattled French President Emmanuel pinned some of the blame on the US war in Iran for the widespread riots and looting unfolding across France.
These events as they unfold sequentially, indicate that the conflict is a major determinant of the global political and economic permutations of which wisdom and diplomacy need to play key roles in its end. This is more so as Trump has recently admitted that, hatred between President Vladimir Putin and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is a major obstacle to ending the war in Ukraine. Thus, the ripple effect and or the vicious cycle keep on running.

US can not dare attack Iran any time sooner before the Midterm elections for its serious repercussions to US and its allies, and the new global order. Iran is gradually making gains and attaining absolute supremacy and independence from the war mongering US and its surrogates such as Israel.
The stage is now on more than before, for a lasting and determining position for each party in this conflict that serves as a lifeline to countries that have self-respect, patriotic feelings and conscience for today and posterity. It is a lesson for a global village to learn and study in a sober reflection that may make or mar their entity.
