As part of efforts towards eradicating poverty to provide means of livelyhood to less priviledge in the Society, a Kaduna based Non governmental organizations, (NGO), Prime United Charity Foundation,has train more than 500 underprivileged, women and Youths in various skills accquisation in the state.
Speaking, at the official launching of the Foundation, in Kaduna, the founder, Hajiya Rakiya Sani, said “Primer United Charity Foundation is actively involved in supporting the orphans, underprivileged children, women and Youth to acquire basic Education and Vocational skills to be self-relient in the Society.
She stated that, the foundation engaged in providing Schools, students with books and writing Materials in enhancing quality education,and also grants Scholarship to orphans and less-priviledge children to have a good and quality education across the state. noted that education is the key to a brighter future of any responsible society and a nation at large.
” we provides medical support to the disadvantage sick people, train and empower Women and Youths on different skills acquirsition such as Tailoring/Fashion, Design,ICT, Wedding, Catering, Photograph and other so that they can be self reliance and supportive to themselves,and their families for a better society.
The Guest Speaker at the occasion Dr. Abdullahi Maikudi Nuhu from Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry Faculty of Science Kaduna State University, who presented paper with the theme “The Role of Entrepreneur in Nation Building”
Said ” entrepreneurship plays vital key role in increasing the standard living of people in a community of operation by creating jobs, developing and adopting innovations that lead to improvements in the quality of life of their employees, customers, and other stakeholders in the community.
He explained that any job creation by new and existing businesses is one of the basic goals of economic development and in the long run improves the index of building a nation.
Nuhu charged, the Youths as leaders of tomorrow to embrace skills acquisitions so that they can be self depended of themselves while emphasizing the need for government to open more Skills acquisition centres across the state so that our teeming youths can be train in various skills capacity. He added.
Also Speaking at the event Senator Sani Sale said, there is need for the wealthy individuals in the Society to train more youths so that they can contribute to the development of the Society, adding that, skills acquisition will curb the high rate of unemployment among the teeming youths.
Sani further added that, when our youths are fully engaged with something meaningful that will improve the quality of their lives, they will never think of stealing, drug abuse and other social vices in which dangerous to the society. He said.
