The Minister of Defence, Alh. Muhammad Babura Abubakar has sent a message of condolence to the Government, Family and people of Jigawa State over the death of Elder Statesman and former Minister of Interior in the second Republic, Senator Dr Bello Maitama Yusuf (Sardaunan Dutse) who died today Friday 13th October 2023.
The Minister described the death of Dr Bello Maitama Yusuf as a great loss not only to Dutse Emirate and Jigawa state but to the country at large.
Badaru Abubakar who described the death of the Elder Statesman as Shocking and touching prayed for his soul to have everlasting peace in Aljannatul Firdausy.
The Minister specifically condoled the Governor of Jigawa state, Mallam Umar A Namadi, His Royal Highness the Emir of Dutse Alh Hamim Nuhu Sanusi and the families of the deceased and urged them to bear the great loss with courage .
Late Dr Bello Maitama Yusuf was until his death the Chairman of Jigawa State APC Elders Forum.
