The Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, Muhammad Shehu Dalijan accompanied by his management team, had decorated fifty four (54) senior police officers of the command with their new ranks.
The command spokes person Asp Yazeed Abubakar has said in a statement Wednesday.
The statement reads in part, “The promotees are the beneficiaries of the recent promotions released by the police Service Commission (PSC) on 12/10/2023 and of which Zamfara police command benefited from it”.
Those promoted are three (3) superintendent of police (SP) promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent of police (CSP ) and FIFTY-ONE (51) Assistant superintendents of police (ASP) who were promoted to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
However, among the beneficiaries are the Cheif Imam of the Command SP Suleiman Al-hassan, who is promoted to the rank of CSP and Asp Aminu Magawata, Asp Buhari yandoto, Asp Hassan Abdullahi were promoted to the rank of DSP respectively.
In his remarks, the Commissioner of Police, Zamfara Command Cp Muhammad Shehu Dalijan psc fsi Congratulated the newly promoted officers and stated that changed in their status signifies additional responsibilities.
He charged them to put in more commitment and professionalism while discharging their legitimate duty also warned them to be disciplined and hardworking.
However, one of the newly promoted officers, CSP Ken .O. Akujinwa in a vote of thanks on behalf of the newly promoted officers.
He assured the Inspector General of Police on behalf of other beneficiaries that they will remain committed and dedicated to their duty as enshrined by their constitutional mandate.
