Group of political thugs today booed Zamfara first civilian governor Sen. Ahmed Sani Yariman Bakura at the formal launching of Zamfara community protection guards CPD, recruited by the state government to fight against banditry.
The incident happened when Sen. Yarima was invited to the podium for a remarks on the occasion.
Our correspondent reports that shortly after clinching the podium, the group of political thugs from all angle at the venue began shouting on the former governor Ahmed Sani with abusive language and throwing stones on him.
Report indicated that the Sen. Yarima haven understand the cenario spent only forty second without saying any word as regards to the occasion.
Our medium gathered that the former governor was immediately taken away in one of the official vehicle for the office of the governor Dr. Dauda Lawal out of the venue for his safety.
Meanwhile, Governors of Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Bauchi, Sokoto, Kaduna and Kebbi states and former national security Adviser Gen. Aliyu Muhammad Gusau were in attendance of the occasion.
